About Us

Our Purpose
CAP Enterprise was set up to grow Kent’s social economy – supporting people and organisations across the county to start up sustainable, resilient and profitable social enterprises and purpose-driven businesses.
Building enterprise in our clients is the golden thread running through everything we do – helping people to develop the skills, confidence, resources and knowledge needed to run successful social enterprises.
Whilst not everyone we support goes on to start up a social enterprise, we ensure that everyone we support knows how to.
Our Impact

The CAP Way
How we work is as important as the services we offer. The CAP Way is our behavioural commitment, which all staff and volunteers adhere to:
-
Believe in the client’s potential – empower our clients to exceed their self-perceived limits
-
Be flexible at all times – adapt to meet every client’s needs and be open to new ways of working
-
Think outside the box – being objective facilitates creativity and empowers lateral problem solving
-
The client always comes first – be clear what the client wants to achieve and help them to achieve it
-
Seek all feedback – ask for feedback which we use to inform our growth and development
-
Goodwill is an asset – help others, be generous, spread kindness and it will be reciprocated
-
Aim for a goodbye – empower to grow, so eventually they won’t need us anymore
-
Keep growing – the more you develop yourself the better the outcomes for our clients
