About the event
Welcome to WomenKind
WomenKind is a six-session training and personal development course for women looking to take positive steps forward in their personal and working life, which since 2008 has supported hundreds of women across Kent and Medway. The course used to be known as 'What About You!'
Within 3 months of completing the course 85% of learners have moved into work, employment or further education. Over 94% have seen a significant improvement in their mental health and wellbeing. Almost all have made new friends, learned new skills and techniques, and found a positive balance between their own needs and their families' needs.
We are currently looking for community partners across Kent and Medway that we can work with over the next few years. We pay our community partners to promote WomenKind in their area, to sign up learners and to provide us with a training room for the duration of the course.
